DR. BASSLEER BIOFISH FOOD CHLORELLA comprises not only all natural components required for well-balanced feeding, but also the valuable Chlorella freshwater algae. This algae abounds in carotinoids (e.g. lutein, astaxanthin), antioxidants (e.g. beta-carotin), essential unsaturated fatty acids (e.g. omega-3), vitamins and trace elements (iron, selenium, iodine, folic acid, calcium). Chlorophyll as well as valuable nucleic acids foster the regeneration process. DR. BASSLEER BIOFISH FOOD CHLORELLA is thus easily digestible, thereby representing almost no stress to the aquarium water. DR. BASSLEER BIOFISH FOOD CHLORELLA is offered in the different granulate sizes M, L, XL and XXL. The granulates in smaller pellet size M sink slowly, thus providing nutrients to all three water zones. This gives surface feeders, fish in the middle zone as well as bottom feeders alike a fresh and balanced diet.

The Benefits of Dr Bassleer’s Biofish Food 

Being rich in macro- and micronutrients, a little goes a long way.

This makes Dr. Bassleer far more economical compared to other leading or more readily available brands. Each variety of Dr Bassleer’s Biofish Food contains the additive pediococcus acidilactici, a probiotic ‘good bacteria’ proven to aid fish gut health.

Matrine  

Infused with skin-boosting alkaloids, making it suitable for the treatment of white spot disease, velvet disease, ich and general turbidity of the skin.  

Herbal

Infused with the potent antiseptics mugwort, chickweed, peppermint and thyme. Useful for adding weight to emaciated fish. 

GSE/Moringa

Infused with grapefruit seed extract and grounded Moringa leaves, each a nutrient dense disinfectant. Recommended for adding weight to emaciated fish and treating mouth or fin rot, ulcers or red wounds. 

 

 

Fuco

Infused with antibacterial compounds extracted from seaweed. Recommended for adding weight to emaciated fish and treating mouth or fin rot, ulcers or red wounds.

Garlic

Contains enzyme-rich and antiparasitic garlic, making it suitable for treating worms and other internal parasites as well as skin or gill flakes. 

Lapacho

Infused with antibacterial and antiparasitic bark from the pink trumpet tree. Can be used to treat small internal parasites, hole-in-the-head disease and head and lateral line erosion.
